An astute professional with a vast background and hands-on experience in leadership, partnership development, project management and coordination, financial management, and capacity building training. Chika has well over thirty-one (31) years of work experience in both the private and public sectors.

Chika was the Project Manager at Search for Common Ground, Delta Region, with the Tomorrow is a New Day Project (2013 – 2016). The project which is worth over 10 million euros is sponsored by the European Union’s Instrument contributing to Stability and Peace(ifs). The core focus of the project includes capacity building training in the areas of transformational leadership, conflict transformation and dialogue and advocacy. The programme under “Tomorrow is a New Day” project promotes inclusiveness in local governance, collectiveness in problem-solving approaches to issues. Chika supervises five managers and gives oversight to five national non-governmental organizations (NGOs) who are the implementing partners of the project. The project engages four governing bodies, one of which is the Project Advisory Group (PAG) through which the project builds partnerships with the three-tiers of government and the international donor organizations, the oil companies and international NGOs.
